CEX Security Review
From the very beginning, CEX has not had any breaches or losses of user funds, which makes it one of the safest exchanges on the market. This is quite remarkable considering the number of breaches we see every day on other exchanges. With over a million users, it is necessary for CEX to maintain a high level of security. The platform uses basic security practices such as SMS log-in confirmation and direct-call confirmation all the way to the mandatory use of hot and cold wallets, DDOs protection, SSL certificates, etc…

CEX User Interface Review
The user interface of CEX is a bit overwhelming at first, but it serves its purpose, unfortunately, you cannot customize it according to your preferences. The interface comes only white, which is quite disappointing as many people prefer dark UI colors..
As you can see on the left side, you have the pairs for quick access. To the right of the Pairs tab, you will find the chart with the market depth below. The chart is quite simple, for advanced chart access you have a button that opens a new window with advanced charting instruments.
The order tab
The design logic is to put everything in sequence, which makes navigating a bit tedious. If you expect to find additional order options, you may be disappointed, as this exchange is quite straightforward. Nevertheless, there is margin trading on CEX Broker, where you will find a trading platform tailored for advanced trading.
Margin trading UI part of the platform
The Margin Trading UI has a completely different look and feel and is suitable for long-term trading sessions. Implementing a dark interface that is easy on the eyes is a very good addition to the main exchange UI.
The chart here has a better design and many other instruments that give you better charting possibilities.
This is the order tab for margin trading where you set up your positions. Here you have everything you need to manage your leverage position properly. For those who are looking for many options with a good leverage trading platform, you may have found the one.
In summary, the CEX user interface is in urgent need of updating, while the user interface for margin trading is much better and more modern.

Trading fees breakdown
The trading fees on the CEX are not low when compared to some other exchanges such as Binance, they are just above the usual norm in the crypto industry.
Cryptocurrency Deposit and Withdrawal Fees
On the deposit side, there are no fees, therefore when you send your cryptocurrency to the exchange, the full amount will be credited to your account. For withdrawals, you have different, very low fees for each cryptocurrency. For example, the withdrawal fee for BTC is 0.0005, which is currently about $5. The ETH withdrawal fee is 0.01, which is about 2$. Overall, this is a fairly standard fee size for such exchanges.
FIAT Deposit and Withdrawal Fees
The fiat deposits and withdrawal fees are not low, but considering what else we have on the market the proposal here is balanced.
For USD, EUR, GBP, RUB deposits via debit, credit cards, the fee is the same for all – 2.99%.
For Banks Transfers the deposit fee is 0, they don’t take anything. Also with ACH/SEPA/Faster/Payments – for USD/EUR/GBP respectively the deposit fee is also non-existent, unfortunately, there are no bank transfers for RUB.
For bank transfers, ACH, SEPA, Faster, Payments there is no deposit fee. Bank transfers are available for all of the fiat currencies with the exception of RUB.
For fiat currency withdrawals, the fees hurt the most as you have up to 3% service charge + $1.20 for USD, 1.50€ for EUR, 2.10£ for GBP and a commission of up to $3.80 for USD, 3.50€ for EUR, 2.90£ for GBP for VISA debit/credit cards.
Withdrawals with MasterCard, the service fee is up to 1.8% + $1.20 for USD, 1.50€ for EUR, 2.10 for GBP. There is a commission up to 1.20% + 3.80 for USD, 1.20% + 3.50€ for EUR, 1.20% + 2.90£ for GBP.
Quite the hurdle to go through all of the fees put in place from the debit, credit card providers.
The fees for withdrawals through Bank transfer is 0.3% + 25$ for USD, 0.3% + 25€ for EUR, and 0.3% + 25£ for GBP.
There are no fees on the exchange side for withdrawals via ACH, SEPA, Faster payments, but of course, the service provider may have fees separate from the exchange for the transfers to your bank account.

Order types
On the main exchange, you will find the standard orders – Limit and Market, which are sufficient if you want to buy or sell only occasionally. However, for day trading they lack stop loss and take profit as options. You will find these options on the margin platform of the exchange. There you will find the platform with advanced order types and advanced order settings.
On CEX Broker you have a limit, market orders with stop-loss and take-profit protection options. You also havе Stop and OCO order types, so you have the best trading experience with a maximum of 10x leverage. A very useful feature is that CEX Broker has a demo account. This makes it safer to learn how the leverage design logic on the platform works.

If you are looking for a good fiat gateway where you can sell all available cryptocurrencies directly to fiat, you have found your platform. If you are looking for an exchange with hundreds of cryptocurrencies and various small-cap projects, this is not your place.
While it offers a margin trading platform in addition to a regular exchange, it offers only 10x leverage, while competitors such as Binance, ByBit, and Bitmex offer 100x leverage on numerous crypto pairs, CEX Broker is lagging behind the standard for margin trading in the crypto industry.
